Dafa Metti won the Young Critic Award for Best Short Film at the Humans of Film Festival, Amsterdam. Jury Statement: “After careful consideration, the short film that stuck with us the most, touched on the hardships of immigration and sparked conversation, enthusiasm, and controversy among us. This film approaches the problem from a non character storytelling point of view, which helps to understand the hardships of an entire social group and raises awareness in a beautiful way. With the aid of visual images, music and camera movements it brings forth the struggle faced by thousands of migrants living in European Countries and creates a voice for them all. So congratulations to Dafa Metti by Tal Amiran for winning this award and thank you for this beautiful film.”
