Tal Amiran is a multiple award-winning filmmaker based in London, UK.
His films have been screened at over a hundred film festivals internationally including the BFI London Film Festival, AFI DOCS and Hot Springs Documentary Film Festival, winning numerous awards including at Rhode Island International Film Festival and Sarasota Film Festival.
His films were shortlisted for the Grierson Awards and the Cinema Eye Honors, longlisted for BIFA (British Independent Film Awards), nominated for One World Media Awards, acquired by the BFI National Archive and have been showcased by Vimeo Staff Pick, Filmmaker Magazine, True Story and Nowness.
Amiran is also an Associate Lecturer on the Film Practice BA and MA Television at London College of Communication, University of the Arts London and on the Film and Moving Image Production BA at Norwich University of the Arts.
